What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages or visits, such as a setting you chose or whether you’ve seen a message. Similar technologies, like your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way.
Cookies and storage Mockova uses
Mockova is a static website with no accounts and no logins, so we keep this to a minimum.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Mockova may show ads from Google AdSense to cover its running costs. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to:
- show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites;
- limit how often you see the same ad;
- measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
Google’s advertising cookies (such as those used by DoubleClick) let Google and its partners serve ads based on your visits to Mockova and other sites. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices
- Personalized ads: turn them off at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: once ads are active, a consent message from Google’s certified consent platform asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used. You can change it anytime using the “Privacy and cookie settings” link on the site.
- Your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of some websites from working. Mockova’s articles will still work.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if the cookies we use change, for example when advertising is turned on. The date at the top shows the latest version.
